Dr. Joad Eseddi is a board-certified rheumatologist with a specialization in the diagnosis and treatment of autoimmune and musculoskeletal disorders. Dr. Eseddi established this practice to offer specialized care tailored to patients with rheumatic diseases, ensuring access to the latest treatment options and personalized management strategies. 

· Assistant Professor, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (6+ years)
Dr. Eseddi joined UT Southwestern initially as a Hospital Medicine faculty after completing his Internal Medicine residency at Wayne State University – Detroit Medical Center. He then pursued further training through a Rheumatology fellowship at UT Southwestern, where he gained specialized expertise in the diagnosis and management of rheumatic diseases. Following his fellowship, Dr. Eseddi continued his career at UT Southwestern as a Rheumatology faculty member, where he contributed to both clinical care and medical education of students, residents and fellows.

Dr. Eseddi’s combined experience in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology allows for a comprehensive understanding of the complexities involved in diagnosing and treating complex diseases such as inflammatory arthritis, myositis, lupus, scleroderma, vasculitis and other rheumatic diseases. Dr. Eseddi has been a part of multiple scholarly activities, resulting in publications in multiple renowned medical journals. 

Affiliations

Dr. Eseddi is actively involved in the medical community as a member of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR), having served on its Global Engagement Committee until 2023. He is also an active member of the Texas Medical Association (TMA).
